Topic: Effect of stroke rate on rowing technique​​

Contents:
  1. Trends of the main biomechanical indicators at increasing stroke rates (oar angles, force curve, blade work, body segments, etc.);
  2. Dependency of the three Rowing Factors on stroke rate (Catch, Rowing Style and Finish);
  3. Specifics of the effects of stroke rate in different categories (male-female, sweep-sculling, heavy-lightweights);
  4. Implications for racing, the most optimal stroke rate – does it exist?
  5. Questions and discussion.

The Webinar will last for 1.5-2 hours and will consist of two of 30-40 min presentations interleaved with interactive periods for questions from the audience and discussions.

All participants will be given links to the previous Webinar, and are highly encouraged to watch it, before they attend the current meeting to avoid repetitions.
