The next BioRow Webinar on Rowing Biomechanics is scheduled on Friday the 30th October at 11.00am BST (London, UK).

We will repeat the topic of the 2nd Webinar with updated and extended contents.

Topic: Rowing myths and biomechanics reality​

Contents:

  1. The most common rowing myths: “the boat check”, “blade inefficiency at catch”, etc.
  2. What is the real rowing efficiency?
  3. Blade propulsive efficiency;
  4. Boat velocity efficiency;
  5. Inertial efficiency;
  6. Rower’s efficiency and effectiveness.

The Webinar will last for 1.5-2 hours and will consist of two of 30-40 min presentations interleaved with interactive periods for questions from the audience and discussions.

All participants will be given links to the previous Webinar, and are highly encouraged to watch it, before they attend the current meeting to avoid repetitions.
